This place is a little take out restaurant, family owned, for as long as I've lived in the neighborhood nearby. You either order for pickup or delivery, there is no seating to dine in, so I didn't remove any stars for atmosphere since it's literally a grab and go counter. We've had Chef Tai's MANY times over the years, and the food is always consistent and their pricing is fair. Fresh and flavorful ingredients with generous portions. Cooked quickly for easy pickup on nights where you just don't feel like cooking.

Really good and fresh! Vegetables were still crisp, the way they should be. The women who attended to me was sweet and accommodated my request to make my chicken and veggies with spicy sauce. Will certainly get take out again

I’ve been a customer for over 17 years. Last night the meal was AWFUL! Grease, grease, grease. I called to talk to the manager, and she could’ve cared less. I’d never had a complaint before, and was appalled at her total lack of interest in my concerns. The food used to be quite good… it’s a shame, but I won’t be ordering again.

Excellent and affordable NY style Chinese take out. Having lived in Manhattan and Queens for years and being familiar with Canal street and Flushing varieties of Asian food, this place is as close as you can get to NYC take out. The lunch specials with wonton soup are a healthy choice compared to the usual American fast food garbage. Eat healthy and stay fit. No need to be a rotund, lethargic dumbed down American when you can start by making more health conscious choices concerning your diet.

food is always good here! my usual order is boneless ribs, chicken lo mein, fried rice, crab rangoons, and egg rolls… when you order, don’t forget to ask for chili oil! :)
